Master Wong originally came to England at the age of ten as a refugee from Vietnam. He originally took up Martial Arts as a result of being bullied at school.
He started to train with a Chinese Master and quickly progressed in skill. After five years, Master Wong travelled to Hong Kong and Mainland China to study with a variety of Chinese Masters.
Training in a wide variety of Martial Arts has given Master Wong a foundation and skill level rarely seen in the Martial Arts world. It also allows him to provide a highly comprehensive, complete teaching programme to his students. This has led to the opening of the Master Wong Academy in Ipswich, which is one of the few, full-time, training centres in the region.
Master Wong also works as a motion capture specialist for film and TV productions and has produced, directed and filmed his own range of DVD titles. These DVDs form the syllabus for his teachings and serve as an instructional, one-on-one aid for his students, who are assured of receiving the same, high standard of tuition, whether they are learning at home or at the Academy.
Master Wong regularly travels to China to train and learn new skills, ensuring that he is constantly evolving and bettering himself. The Master Wong Academy is recognised globally and every style taught has a unique purpose, with a growing team of instructors that provide a consistent level of tuition regardless of where they are in the world.
