Catherine Labinjo is a young, dynamic, award-winning entrepreneur and an experienced public speaker with a portfolio of businesses. Known as 'The Excellence Coach', she uses her ability to motivate, inspire and empower people to attain excellence and success.
Catherine started her first business at the age of eighteen and has been an entrepreneur ever since. Upon graduating from Kingston University with a BA (Hons) in International Business, Catherine began her career as a team manager for Serco, the world's largest provider of public services to governments, and went on to gain project and change management experience in various roles within corporate organisations such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Octopus Investments and Deutsche Bank. She has had training in negotiation and influence, coaching, NLP, counselling and mentoring and her portfolio ranges from coaching and consultancy, to event management, media and social enterprise.
Catherine is now the CEO of TLConsultancy Ltd and Enterprise International. She uses her coaching expertise to aid individuals and businesses alike. Her most recent ventures include the Part-Time Entrepreneurs' Network (PTEN) and the Entrepreneurs' Expo. She also runs seminars for young people to help them find their identity and achieve their goals.
Catherine is a highly motivated and driven woman, with a passion for inspiring people from all walks of life. She uses the skill set she has learnt through her own, various life experiences to educate and motivate others through innovative and effective techniques. She has spoken at events with hundreds of participants and worked with several blue chip companies, SMEs and small community groups. Her aim is to help people access their potential in order to climb the ladder of achievement.
Catherine previously hosted her own radio show with a community station and feels this gave her an avenue to put the 'stars' of the local and wider community into the spotlight to be celebrated. Catherine has also been featured in interviews on the radio, in national newspapers and is currently working with the government on business innovation initiatives.
