Originally from Jamaica, Vinette has lived in the UK for over twelve years. With a degree in Secondary Education and Teaching, she has worked in the educational sector for over twenty years and has been consistently judged as an outstanding classroom practitioner. She is also the managing director of The Transition Zone, which offers bespoke workshops, seminars and keynotes that provide direction, equip you with new skills, help you to realise your full potential and enable you to move forward with a clear, focused vision and purpose.
Vinette recently found her niche as a public speaker and actively speaks in schools and companies, both in the UK and around the world. She is the current World Speaking Champion of Toastmasters International District 71, UK and Ireland 2017/18 and the 2016/17 winner of 'Speaker Factor', the Annual contest for Associate and Professional Members of the London Professional Speakers' Association.
Her speeches are drawn from her diverse and fascinating background, spanning multiple countries, and a wealth of experience over several decades and interactions.
